About the team –
The AIS Performance Group leads the design and delivery of innovative evidence-based systems, programs, services, and support that unites and enables the HP sport system to support athletes to Win Well.
About the role –
As a key member of the EGM Support Team, the Executive Assistant provides high-level coordination, organisation, and communication support to enable the AIS Director to deliver on strategic priorities. The role requires exceptional attention to detail, discretion, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. The Executive Assistant operates with a high level of autonomy and is expected to exercise sound judgement in the coordination of executive functions. The role involves resolving moderately complex issues, managing sensitive information, and ensuring alignment with organisational strategies and priorities.
About you –
The successful candidate will have the following essential criteria:
- Demonstrated experience and expertise in providing high-level executive and administrative support in a dynamic and complex environment, including the ability to manage competing demands and multiple stakeholders.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage time
- effectively, and independently resolve moderately complex issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear and concise
- correspondence, briefing materials, and presentations.
- Sound judgement, discretion, and integrity, including the ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain confidentiality and privacy in handling sensitive information.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate and high-quality work.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to a positive team culture and, where required, provide guidance to other administrative staff
This position is offered as a FIXED TERM position until October 2026 with the possibility of being extended or made ongoing.
