Trinity Grammar School is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to take on the role as Director of Sport - Rugby. This is a unique opportunity to lead one of the School's long standing and well supported sporting programs, and shaping the development of Rugby from Years 3 to 12.

As the Director of Sport - Rugby, you will oversee all aspects of the Rugby program, including coaching, player and program development and staff management. You will lead the team by example, actively coaching and being a visible presence at training sessions and on game day. Working closely with the Sports Masters and Director of Co-curricular, you will ensure the Rugby program reflects Trinity's commitment to excellence, sportsmanship and holistic student growth. 

Key responsibilities...

• Lead and manage the Rugby program across Years 3 to 12
• Actively coach and mentor players from participation to performance levels
• Co-ordinate training programs, tours, camps and holiday initiatives
• Recruit, support and develop coaching staff
• Manage game day operations
• Ensure compliance with School policies and sporting regulations

What we are looking for...

• Proven Rugby coaching experience, particularly with young children and adolescents (ideally in a school setting or elite level)
• Experience as a sports administrator in education or community setting
• Experience leading, developing, and mentoring coaches
• Understanding of the CAS and/or GPS sports
• Compliance requirements including: Valid NSW Working With Children number (employment status), Valid First Aid and CPR qualifications (HLTAID011 and HLTAID009) and Play by the Rules Child Protection Certificate
