Support Our Community’s Sporting Heart!

Here is your opportunity to run the day-to-day operations of the Shellharbour City Stadium. Council is seeking a highly organised, energetic and customer-focused Stadium Supervisor to liaise with schools and external sporting groups, develop programs, organise events that promote our Stadium and provide a vibrant, viable and high-quality facility that meets the indoor sport and recreation needs of our visitors and community. This role requires excellent communication skills, with a focus on delivering high quality customer service outcomes.

Reporting to the Aquatics and Recreation Manager, you will collaborate with a team to deliver a customer-centric approach with the community.

Our ideal candidate will;

  • Have tertiary qualifications in business administration / sports management and/or extensive experience in a similar role.
  • Be flexible and adaptable. Work varied hours, including evenings and weekends, and adjust to changing priorities. 
  • Take pride in contributing to a space that serves the local community and supports events, sports, and recreation.
  • Enjoy interacting with the public and providing a positive experience for visitors
  • Have experience in facilities management
  • Have demonstrated experience in the planning and administration of sport and recreation programs.

  • Permanent full time, 38 hours per week (Monday to Sunday) with the opportunity to work a 9-day fortnight 
  • Commencing salary range from $80,011 - $84,908 per annum (based on qualifications and experience)

Please Note: 

  • This position requires a National Police History Check clearance and a current "Working with Children Check" clearance in accordance with the 'Child Protection (WWC) Act 2012 for Paid workers.

Essential Requirements

  • Level 2/Senior/Apply/Provide First Aid
  • National Police / Criminal History Check
  • Working with Children / Working with Vulnerable People Check
  • Sports Management / Business Administration qualifications and/or relevant extensive experience in a similar role
  • Experience in facilities management
  • Class C Drivers Licence
