This position is responsible for the effective implementation, growth, and development of the tennis coaching programs at the Queensland Tennis Centre. The role will focus on the development and growth of participation in core coaching programs including Hot Shots, group lessons, Development Squads, Performance, Adult lessons and School groups.
At the Darwin International Tennis Centre, the heart of our coaching program is our Hotshots tennis so a genuine love for grassroots tennis as well as being comfortable around kids is essential in this role. Other coaching programs would include school tennis delivery, holiday clinics, Adult Beginner and Cardio lessons and private lessons.
Lead participation and game development across table tennis in Australia. Design inclusive participation pathways and experiences, and work with states and clubs to grow participation, increase frequency of play, and strengthen community engagement nationwide.
Lead the delivery of national marketing initiatives that grow the profile, engagement and reach of table tennis in Australia. Partner closely with internal teams and state and territory associations to deliver aligned, high-impact storytelling and campaigns.
Play a critical role in advancing gender equality in tennis by leading the implementation of the Tennis Women and Girls Strategy in Tasmania. You will manage the delivery of tailored programs and initiatives that will be key to increasing the access, participation and opportunities for women and girls in the sport.
