  • Conduct pre-game warm-ups and carry out Sports Trainer responsibilities on game day.
  • As directed by the HoP, maintain all relevant physical and performance data, including athlete monitoring, physical testing and training load, using the AMS, GPS and any other applicable systems.
  • Assist with rehabilitation programs in the event of injury, in consultation with the relevant medical staff, particularly the Head Physiotherapist.
  • Regularly review and refine the program in consultation with the HoP, coaches and other team management.
  • Assist with the delivery of the Hostplus Cup Strength & Conditioning program, and be available to support coaching, mentoring and presentations for the Burleigh Bears as required, in conjunction with the Football Operations Manager, Head of Pathways and HoP.
  • Support the development of a professional, accountable and high-performance training environment across the A Grade program, setting clear standards and expectations for players and staff.
