Play Nation is one of Sydney's fast growing padel and pickleball destinations, and we're looking for an ambitious Club Manager to lead our next stage of growth.
This is not a traditional operations role. We're looking for someone who thrives on building communities, creating experiences, driving participation, and growing a business. You'll have the autonomy to make decisions, implement ideas, and be rewarded for the results you deliver.
What You'll Be Responsible For
- Growing memberships, court utilisation, and revenue
- Building an engaged and loyal player community
- Creating and promoting events, tournaments, leagues, and social activities
- Managing Play Nation's marketing, sales, social media, and local partnerships
- Delivering an exceptional customer experience on and off the court
- Leading day-to-day club operations and ensuring high standards across the venue
Who We're Looking For
- A self-starter who doesn't need constant direction
- Proven experience in growing a business, community, membership base, or customer engagement
- Strong marketing, sales and social media skills
- Commercially minded with a focus on results
- Excellent communicator who loves connecting with people
- Passionate about sport, particularly racquet sports, fitness, or community-based businesses
You might come from a sports club, gym, recreation centre, hospitality, events, or customer growth background. What matters most is your ability to build a thriving community and drive growth.
