Macarthur Rams are seeking a valuable addition to their Performance Department ahead of the 2027 Mens NPL League One & NPL1 Womens Seasons.
The successful candidate will work as a part of a team with the Performance Manager, Head Coach, Technical Director and Lead Physiotherapist to develop and implement best practice approaches to athlete development. This role will involve management of both the Mens and Womens Programs.
Role Responsibilities include:
Lead periodization & delivery of on-field speed & conditioning programs for both mens & womens programs for the entire season
Create, implement and manage individual strength programs for each player for the entire season
Attend all required training sessions and game day
Report directly to the Head of Football & Performance Manager
Lead GPS data collection and process results to present to coaching staff each session and game
Manage 1-2 S+C students/interns through education and rostering
Attend and participate in professional development sessions and program design meetings
Availability:
Pre-season: 3-4 sessions per week
In-season: 2-3 per week & game day
Length: November 2026 - August/September 2027
This role is suited to individuals studying exercise science or strength and conditioning with a genuine interest in perusing a professional career. ASCA Lv 1 / 2 certifications and are advantageous. Experience in using S+C programs such as Lumin or Teambuildr and GPS Systems such as Catapult or StatSports would also be advantageous.
