Football South Coast is the governing body for football across the South Coast region, supporting participation, development and performance for all ages and abilities. We are proud to be the region’s largest community sport, built on strong clubs, passionate volunteers and inclusive pathways.
We are seeking an experienced and values-driven Chief Executive Officer to lead the organisation into its next phase of growth.
The Role
Reporting to the FSC Board, the CEO provides strategic, operational and commercial leadership for football across the region. This hands-on role balances governance, financial sustainability and stakeholder engagement with a strong commitment to community sport and inclusion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver FSC’s strategic direction across competitions, participation and development
- Build strong relationships with member clubs, Football Councils, Football NSW, councils, sponsors and government stakeholders
- Represent FSC professionally in media, meetings and public forums
- Drive marketing, sponsorship, grants and revenue growth
- Oversee financial management, budgeting and reporting
- Lead and develop the diverse FSC team, setting clear performance goals
- Oversee operations, facilities and major events, including Ian McLellan Park
- Provide Board support, governance oversight and regulatory compliance
About You
You are a strategic and collaborative leader with experience in community sport, not-for-profit or membership-based organisations. You bring strong governance, financial and stakeholder management skills, and a genuine passion for football and volunteer-led sport.
You will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Sport Management, Business, Finance, Marketing or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience working with Boards and strong governance capability
- Financial management and sustainability planning experience
- Proven success in sponsorship, grants or revenue growth
- Excellent written, presentation and communication skills
- High integrity, resilience and professionalism
Availability for evenings/weekends and a valid (or obtainable) Working With Children Check are required.
