Purpose

The Program, Camps, 3x3 and Inclusive Basketball Manager will oversee the planning and administration of all holiday camps, development programs, 3x3 events and inclusive basketball programs, including Wheelchair basketball, Walking Basketball and Ausome Hoops. The role also entails being on court coaching for some programs and camps, as well as going out to schools.

Duties

• Organise, plan and conduct administration and some coaching) for Holiday Camps
• Organise, plan and conduct administration (and some coaching) for Development Programs
• Organise, plan and conduct administration (and some coaching) for Walking Basketball, Wheelchair Basketball and Ausome Hoops.
• Organise, plan and conduct all 3x3 tournaments.
• Sort Sporting Schools Bookings.
• Prepare budgets and scheduling of coaches for all programs under the banner of DVBA.

Essential criteria:

• Level 1 Basketball Australia Coaching Accreditation
• Relative experience in development basketball coaching. 
• Current and valid WWCC;
• Current and valid Driver’s Licence.
• Ability to work some weekends within scope of role.

38 Hours per week
