About the team – The Clearinghouse for Sport is the Australian sport sector’s central knowledge platform, providing trusted research, data, and insights. It enables organisations to make evidence-informed decisions that strengthen performance, participation, and governance, while securely sharing resources to ensure equitable access across the sector.
About the role – The Knowledge & Evidence Manager leads the delivery of high-quality sport information and research, ensuring data from diverse sources is analysed and contextualised to support evidence-based outcomes for Australian sport. It manages sport information services across key sport and sport science areas, aligned with priority research, practice and policy needs, and oversees the development of library and digital collections to improve resource discovery.
It is also responsible for producing and distributing the Daily Sports News update, connecting thousands of subscribers with the latest national and international sport news, research and developments.
About you – We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to lead and manage sport information and research services. The successful candidate will have:
- Tertiary qualifications and/or proven experience in knowledge management, research library management, sport management, business, policy development, or related fields.
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to synthesise complex information from multiple sources into clear, concise, and engaging content for diverse audiences.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and quality across all outputs.
- A proven track record of leadership and management, achieving high personal and team performance aligned with organisational objectives.
