About the team –
The Sport Learning team is responsible for the Australian Sport Learning Centre (Learning Centre) growth and delivery internally and externally. The Learning Centre delivers sector-wide learning and development outcomes by centralising and syndicating learning activities, including Learning Management Solution (LMS) and online learning content. Recognised National Sport Organisations (NSOs/NSODs) can join the Learning Centre as subtenants, creating a fully branded one stop shop for all learning, including online and face to face activities. We exist to develop a thriving and sustainable learning and development culture, enabling the ASC, including AIS, and NSOs/NSODs to bring their best possible learning and development experiences to life. We use technology to create a strong value proposition and efficiencies through scalable and repeatable solutions that deliver relevant products and services that make a positive and strategic impact to Australian sport.

About the role –
we are looking for a talented LMS administrator with excellent attention to detail, a focus on quality delivery, support and training and a desire to learn and grow. You should be a strong communicator and take a logical and methodological approach to solving problems and presenting options or solutions.
About you –
we are looking for an experienced LMS administrator who is ready to jump into a multi-tenanted solution and use your skills to deliver and support the sport sector build their learning and development capability. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication approaches, and an ability to prioritise daily, weekly and fortnightly tasks in a fast-paced multi-faceted role.
- At least 3 years’ experience as an LMS administrator using Totara or Moodle, other LMS administration experience will also be held in high regard.
- Experience in Learning Management Systems is essential, preference for multi-tenancy is desired but not essential. Knowledge of LMS interaction with Sharable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) is highly desired.
- Demonstrated experience configuring complex certifications, programs, courses and seminars/sessions, as well as some theming/brand expertise.
- Demonstrated experience delivering training and support for LMS system administrators and learners.
- Experience with Zendesk or equivalent customer support digital solution, including experience with ticket handling and escalation, SLA setup and delivery, automated response including chat bot, knowledgebase article creation and categorisation, etc.
- Ability to analyse and test a solution beyond anticipated workflows and identify weaknesses, flaws and potential exploits or workarounds.
- Demonstrated experience participating in project delivery teams comprising a mix of employees, contractors and vendors.
- Demonstrated communication, interpersonal and liaison skills with a proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with others.
This position is offered as a FIXED TERM position until 13 November 2026 with the possibility of being extended or made ongoing.
