About the team - The Performance Pathways and Programs branch assists National Sporting Organisations to plan, monitor and review their current and future cycle high performance strategies, including sport relevant athlete pathway strategies and specific campaign plans.
About the role - The role leads in the development of evidence-based, customised models, frameworks and systems to support sport to make balanced investment decisions and achieve sustainable improvements in high performance outcomes.
This role seeks to promote and foster robust financial planning and enhance capability by providing support, oversight, analysis and reporting on NSO HP programs, and provide oversight and management of AIS grant programs throughout the grant program lifecycle.
About you - We are looking for a motivated individual with excellent attention to detail who has:
- Tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated experience in strategy and policy development, business planning, and sport or public sector investment.
- Demonstrated expertise in positively influencing clients to work collaboratively in the development of strategic plans.
- Experience in successfully managing a diverse project team of internal and external consultants, including demonstrated success in achieving team and project objectives and cohesion in line with a strategic direction.
- Demonstrated record of team leadership and management to achieve high personal and team performance and meet organisational and business objectives.
- Demonstrated ability to provide timely, compelling and concise advice to executive members and senior management to inform and support decision making particularly in relation to strategic investment.
- Demonstrated high level experience in managing financial resources, risk management and business planning.
