Banyule Leisure is seeking a passionate and experienced Operations and Aquatic Safety Team Leader to lead the safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of services across our leisure facilities. This pivotal role ensures our centres operate in full compliance with industry standards and deliver exceptional experiences to our community.

What you’ll bring/what we are looking for:
- A commitment to Banyule Leisure’s values and a keen interest in promoting health and safety of our customers and the wider community.
- Strong customer service focus and ability to multitask in a busy and dynamic environment, without compromising service to customers.
- At least 12 months’ experience in similar or related roles.
- Prior experience working with a relevant industry body or within the aquatics and recreation industry will be highly considered
- Must hold all mandatory qualifications (listed below).
The role requires working to a Tuesday to Saturday roster or a Sunday to Thursday roster. The position will be rostered to work 2 days of direct service Duty Manager shifts and will need to be flexible to work across the hours of operation of the facility if required.

- A full time, permanent position, salary range $77,785.93 - $90,083.32 per year excluding super.
- Primary work location Ivanhoe Aquatic, occasionally Olympic Leisure and Banyule Nets.
- 18 weeks of paid parental leave - primary carer/2 weeks of paid parental leave – partner.

Mandatory Qualifications:
The incumbent must hold and keep currency in the following qualifications:
- Pool Operators Certificate
- Pool Lifeguard Certification
- Level 2 First Aid Certificate
- Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificates
- CPR Certificate

- Drivers license
