The Pool Lifeguard is responsible for ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all aquatic facility users in Allora Community Pool.

The Aquatics Supervisor oversees lifeguard operations, ensuring staffing, training, compliance, and safety meet standards and policies. This role requires a proactive leader to manage daily operations, support performance, and maintain a safe, professional aquatic environment.

Lifeguards are responsible for supervising aquatic areas, ensuring guest safety, and responding immediately in emergencies. Duties include water rescue, first aid, emergency care, enforcing rules, and monitoring swimmer behaviour. Lifeguards also operate attractions according to all operating procedures. Minimum age 16 years.

We are looking for engaged and proactive lifeguards to oversee the seasonal operation of our outdoor pools. Our outdoor pool season will last until the 31st of March 2026.

We are seeking experienced Pool Lifeguards to join our team on a casual basis.

This is a Fixed-Term Casual Role – Summer Contract (October 2025 to March 2026). We’re seeking enthusiastic individuals who are available to work a variety of shifts, including opening, closing, and weekends throughout the busy summer season. Lifeguards are responsible for supervising the pools, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment.

We are looking for a motivated and experienced individual to join our Key Venues team at BLCS as an Activity Officer (Duty Manager) on a permanent, full-time basis. If you have a Pool Lifeguard Certificate, aquatic and leisure industry experience, good time management and leadership skills, then this is the role for you!
