The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate, organised, and community-focused professional to lead the Club’s engagement, experience, and pathway programs for our members. As Head of Community, you will drive quality and inclusion across juniors, seniors, volunteers, and social football, strengthening our Club culture and impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee club-wide member experience and community engagement initiatives
Lead delivery and growth of programs for all ages (Metro Juniors, Squirts, Masters, Holiday Camps, and more)
Build pathways and connections between football programs and the wider VUFC community
Coordinate events, volunteer programs, and community partnerships
Support inclusion, diversity, wellbeing, and positive club culture
Collaborate with technical staff for unified player pathway development
Drive communication to ensure clarity and alignment for all members
About You:
Proven experience in community sport, club management, or member engagement
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach
Ability to organise, plan, and deliver events or programs
Committed to fostering inclusion, wellbeing, and positive experiences
Strong organisational and administration skills
Understanding of football club environments and member needs
