The Opportunity:

As Head of High Performance, you will lead technical direction, player development, and coaching standards across our Academy and Senior Teams. This is a full-time, senior leadership role for a driven, visionary, and collaborative professional eager to shape the performance culture of a progressive Club.

You’ll be empowered to design and deliver high-performance structures, develop talent pathways, and work closely with technical staff to maximise player and coach outcomes. Reporting to the General Manager, this role shapes the club’s football philosophy and standards at every level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and implement the Club’s football and player development strategy across academy (youth and junior) and senior squads.
  • Shape the club’s high-performance culture, delivering aligned frameworks from juniors to first team.
  • Drive coach development through observation, feedback, and tailored education.
  • Oversee player monitoring, talent ID, and progression pathways.
  • Collaborate with senior coaching teams to bridge academy and senior program expectations.
  • Drive initiatives for early senior integration for standout youth players.
  • Ensure compliance with Football Queensland’s frameworks and best practice.
  • Mentor players and coaches, ensuring clarity, communication, and accountability.

About You:

We’re seeking candidates with:

  • Demonstrated experience in elite football environments, youth academies, and senior team performance programs.
  • AFC/FFA A Licence (or working towards).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  •  Strong organisational abilities, able to balance multiple priorities.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
  • Experience driving culture, standards, and pathways in ambitious club environments.
