About the team - The Sport Learning branch delivers and grows ASC and sector wide learning and development capability and maturity. We do this through a sector specific learning management solution and provision of advisory, consultancy and support services, tailored for the needs of each organisation or stakeholder.
About the role - You will review, analyse and evaluate system and user needs of the Australian Sport Learning Centre (Learning Centre), the needs of sector partners, such as NSOs, internal ASC business areas, or other connected ASC systems as required. You will document requirements, define scope, objectives, use cases, business processes and recommend solution design as it relates to product roadmaps and strategic objectives.
About you - You will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Business Analysis, Information Technology or demonstrated 2-3 years’ experience in system and/or web projects as a Business Analyst
- Highly developed analytical and conceptual thinking skills, including an ability to innovate and think outside the scope, or assess most viable options from an agreed selection
- The ability to engage and influence stakeholders, working closely with them to determine and reach acceptable solutions.
- An understanding of (or the ability to quickly acquire) the domain of Learning Management Systems and/or learning and development approaches.
- Demonstrated experience in project and change management, including Agile, user journey mapping and workflows, including use of standard industry tools, including experience working on concurrent projects
- High level written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to present to and influence Senior Leaders, Executive and Boards
- Ability to work independently and as part of project delivery teams comprising a mix of employees, contractors and vendors.
- Extremely organized with strong time-management and a strong ability to prioritise work independently against strategic outcomes
- Demonstrated communication, interpersonal and liaison skills with a proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with others.
