About the team –
The Commercial Operations branch works collaboratively as part of a high performing team/organisation, establishing and maintaining effective partnerships with key internal and/or external stakeholders to deliver high quality business outcomes. We actively promote and role model the ASC values of Excellence, Integrity, Respect and Teamwork, contribute to positive organisational change and continuous improvement at the ASC, whilst generating revenue through the AIS Shop, Tours, and AIS Aquatic Centre.
The AIS Tours team offers a unique behind the scenes tour for schools, sport and community groups, corporate groups and the general public that contributes to the overall commercial revenue at the ASC. Our tours aim to educate and inspire, sparking curiosity and ambition in the next generation of athletes, coaches and sport professionals.
About the role –
As a key member of the team you’ll play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operations of AIS Tours, ensuring a high standard of visitor experience. You will be an enthusiastic and friendly individual who demonstrates exceptional customer service skills and strong attention to detail. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organised, dependable and committed to delivering quality service in every interaction.
The successful candidate will have:
- Demonstrated experience in front of house operations, preferably in a tourism environment.
- Customer service skills
- General administrative skills
- Attention to detail
- Friendly and personable demeanour
- Senior First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain

Eligibility
To be eligible for employment with the Australian Sports Commission, it is preferred that applicants are Australian citizens or permanent residents of Australia.
As part of the Commonwealth Child Safety Framework the ASC is committed to being a Child Safe Organisation and leading the way in Child Safety across the sports sector. This position requires a Working with Vulnerable/Children People check to obtain employment.
