The newly created GM Operations role is one of the four leadership roles in BV and will officially be the 2IC for the organisation.

The GM Operations is responsible for the strategic and operational delivery of all baseball competitions, events, and related pathway programs across Victoria. This role ensures the effective planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of Baseball Victoria’s operations, ensuring alignment with the organisation’s strategic objectives and stakeholder expectations.

This role will work directly with the CEO to deliver on the Strategic Plan with the main aims being:

• To take a strategic lead on the quality and standard of program delivery in each area.
• To ensure sound governance, operational planning and human resources procedures are in place.
• To support the CEO to build a sustainable business with a focus on increasing financial sustainability, maximising commercial opportunities and creating new revenue streams.

The person in this role will be well-organised, have a logical approach, and be able to support a long-term vision. They will be able to work independently as well as in small team environments and be able to lead when required.
