How You'll Make a Difference

As part of the Executive Leadership Team, you will lead a team to drive AusCycling’s marketing, brand, communications, content and earned media strategy to:

  • Lead national marketing campaigns that grow participation, membership, and visibility.
  • Amplify major initiatives like AusBike, National Championships, and Membership Products.
  • Build a strong, unified brand across digital, owned, earned, and paid media channels.
  • Protect and strengthen AusCycling’s reputation through strategic communications and crisis management.
  • Support the CEO and Board with high-impact messaging, stakeholder engagement, and corporate communications.
  • Inspire and lead a high-performing, purpose-driven Media, Marketing and Communications team.

What You'll Do

  • Manage a team to deliver strategic marketing, content, and communication campaigns.
  • Lead brand development and digital engagement initiatives.
  • Manage stakeholder relations, issues management, and media strategy.
  • Guide innovation, audience growth, and data-driven engagement strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team to achieve organisational goals.

Who We're Looking For

  • Senior leadership experience in marketing, communications, or media, ideally in sport or purpose-driven sectors.
  • Strong skills in brand strategy, campaign management, digital engagement, and media relations.
  • Experience leading teams, managing crises, and building stakeholder relationships.
  • Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset, innovation focus, and collaborative leadership style.
  • Knowledge of cycling or Australian sport is desirable but not essential.

  • National Police / Criminal History Check
  • Working with Children / Working with Vulnerable People Check
