HER Rugby Academy (HRA) develops players, coaches and officials across Victoria, building high-performance skills and growing participation and retention among girls and women in Rugby Union. We are seeking a Secretary to join our four-person Committee.
Working with Founders Silei Etuale (President) and Vice President Meretiana Robinson and Treasurer Sarah Stone, the Secretary keeps HRA compliant with Victorian and national not-for-profit requirements, supports information sharing and collaboration across the Committee and contributes to the organisation’s financial sustainability.
The Secretary coordinates committee meetings and planning workshops, maintains records, supports governance processes, and ensures that key decisions and actions are recorded and tracked.
Heading into its second year, HRA’s foundations are in place and the next phase is taking shape, driven by where the Founders expertise and experience in Rugby Union have most impact.
The outgoing Secretary will provide a full handover, so you do not need to arrive knowing everything.
You would be a good fit if you:
- are organised, reliable and follow things through
- care about creating opportunities for women and girls in sport
- complement others in a small, diverse team.
Governance, committee, minute-taking, or Microsoft 365 experience is useful but not essential. You do not need a rugby background, but involvement in community sport is highly desirable.
What you gain: hands-on committee experience, governance and compliance skills, and a direct role in growing women’s and girls’ rugby in Victoria.
