Tara Anglican School for Girls is seeking a highly capable Sports Coordinator to support the Head of Sport (Senior School) in the delivery of the School's Rowing & Snow Sports programs and broader co-curricular sports program.
This is a pivotal role that combines administration, logistics and relationship management to ensure the smooth coordination of sporting competitions, events, training programs and representative opportunities. Working closely with the Head of Sport (Senior School), coaches, students, staff and families, you will play an integral role in creating outstanding sporting experiences for our girls.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the Head of Sport (Senior School) with the day-to-day administration of the School's Rowing and broader sports program
- Coordinating rowing camps, regattas, competitions and sporting events
- Managing communications with students, parents, coaches and sporting associations
- Maintaining accurate records, schedules and sports-related databases
- Assisting with team nominations, transport, venues and logistics
- Contributing to the ongoing success and growth of Rowing and girls' sport at Tara
About you:
- Strong knowledge of Rowing and/or Snowsports
- Strong administrative and coordination skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Passionate about supporting student participation and achievement in Rowing as well as sport more broadly
