About the role

The Player and Coach Development Manager - NT leads the delivery and alignment of Tennis Australia’s Player Development and Coach Development priorities across the Northern Territory. • Proactively identify, support and advocate for NT coaches through development opportunities, recognition, mentoring and national connection
  • Lead the planning and delivery of NT Talent programs, including Talent Hubs, Super 10s, NDP Connect, NDP Support, National Development Squads, State Talent Camps and Club Talent ID initiatives.
  • Monitor athlete readiness, growth velocity, learning behaviours, wellbeing and transition needs.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Tennis Australia recognised coach qualification – Club Professional preferred, or equivalent Performance coaching qualification.
  • Demonstrated ability in identifying talented athletes, and the ability to build professional relationships with private coaches, and parents of players.

  • Proven knowledge of all aspects of development (technical, tactical, physical and psychological) and on-court decision making strategies.
  • A current Police Check and Working with Children Check (or be willing to obtain).
