ABOUT US
Cricket NSW (CNSW) is focused on leading and growing the game throughout the state. We oversee all cricket from elite professional teams to community, school, and social cricket programs. As a purpose and people led organisation, CNSW aims to inspire everyone to play and love cricket.
Our Wildly Important Goal (WIG) is to grow the number of 5–12-year-olds playing cricket. To deliver on our WIG and strategic priorities we have a collaborative, customer-centric approach. ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Performance Director, in this role you will:
- Lead and manage the SSSM S&C Team including Performance Coaches and Dietitians who oversee the Blues and Breakers programs
- Lead the physical performance and athletic development of the NSW Blues program
- Designing and implementing the conditioning and strength programs for NSW Blues squad
- Lead and direct the Sports Science program for the NSW Blues and Breakers programs
- Be a key member of the senior leadership team directing and leading the physical preparation of the elite cricketers in the NSW Blues and Breakers programs
ABOUT YOU
- At least 10 years experience working in an elite professional and/or Olympic sports program and/or organisation.
- Experience leading and managing people, including strength and conditioning, sports science, nutrition and analytics.
- Strong relationship skills and a collaborative approach
- Excellent communication skills
- Sound problem-solving and decision-making skills
