The Role:

Reporting to the Area Manager Aquatics, you will:

  • Lead and support Learn to Swim Team Leaders, Pool Deck Supervisors and Instructors
  • Coordinate Learn to Swim and School Swimming programs across multiple facilities
  • Drive a strong team culture focused on collaboration, accountability and inclusion
  • Support staff development, training and retention initiatives
  • Ensure programs are delivered safely, effectively and to a high customer service standard
  • Build positive relationships with families, schools and the broader community

Skills and Experience:

You are a confident and capable leader who:

  • Has experience in swim school or aquatic program coordination
  • Demonstrates the ability to lead, coach and develop staff
  • Is passionate about creating a positive and inclusive workplace culture
  • Has strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
  • Understands the importance of both people and performance

Qualifications:

  • Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Level 2 First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain)
  • AUSTSWIM qualification (or willingness to obtain) 
  • Satisfactory National Police Check; and
  • Other pre-employment checks may be required depending on the role requirements.
