Be part of the action at one of the world’s premier international sporting events! We are now inviting Expressions of Interest for casual volunteer event staff to support the delivery of the 2026 Water Polo World Cup Final in Sydney.

This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience at a world-class sporting event, work alongside a passionate international workforce, and contribute to an unforgettable global showcase of elite sport.

Event Location - Sydney Olympic Park and various training venues across Sydney.

Available Roles Include:

  • Venue Operations: Venue managers (training facilities), pool supervisors, equipment coordinators
  • Accreditation & Access Control: Accreditation officers, credential checkers, entry point monitors
  • Information Services: Information desk attendants, venue ambassadors, wayfinding guides
  • Event Support: Runners, marshals, session changeover crew, bump in & bump out crew
  • VIP & Hospitality: VIP hosting staff, hospitality coordinators
  • Transport & Logistics: Shuttle coordinators, meeting room logistics support
  • Media Operations (incl. Mixed Zone, Media Centre), Flash Quote Reporters and Content Creators

What We’re Looking For:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • A professional, enthusiastic, and positive attitude
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends
  • Reliable, punctual, and well-presented
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
  • Team-focused with the ability to work independently
  • Prior event experience is advantageous but not essential
  • Multilingual skills are highly regarded
