Fremantle Rowing Club (FRC) is seeking an outstanding Rowing Program Coordinator to lead and grow Iona Presentation College’s rowing program into a premier rowing program, building on the success of the last 5 years.
This is a rare leadership opportunity for a coach who is passionate about athlete development, program building, and creating a strong, values-driven culture within a high-performing school setting.
The Iona Rowing Program Coordinator will have overall responsibility for the strategic direction, coaching delivery, and operational management of the Iona rowing program. Working closely with the College and FRC, the successful candidate will shape and deliver the vision of rowing at Iona.
About You
We are seeking a coach who combines technical expertise with strong leadership and organisational skills.
You will ideally bring:
- Proven experience coaching school, club, or representative rowing programs
- A strong understanding of long-term athlete development
- The ability to inspire young athletes and build a cohesive coaching team
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience in program coordination, planning, and administration
- Appropriate accreditation

The role will be for a fixed term 2 February - 20 June 2026 (until IGSSA Head of the River), with expected hours of approximately 21.5 hours pw.
