You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of the Tigers pathway, ensuring a strong and sustainable pipeline of players and coaches from community football through to elite levels. The role leads talent identification, player and coach development programs, and builds strong relationships across our catchment, schools, community clubs and key governing bodies. You’ll also contribute to player welfare outcomes alongside our Wellbeing and Football Operations teams.
Key focus areas

Lead the Tigers talent identification and recruitment strategy across male and female pathways

Deliver nationally prescribed talent development programs (on-field & off-field)

Mentor and develop coaches to ensure consistent Tigers philosophy

Strengthen partnerships with schools, community clubs, QRL/NRL and affiliates

Monitor player progression and use performance insights to guide decisions

Support athlete wellbeing and family engagement throughout the pathway journey
What we’re looking for

Extensive coaching and/or pathways experience in rugby league talent environments

Advanced understanding of rugby league pathways and the attributes of successful players and coaches

Current Youth Development Rugby League Coaching Certificate (mandatory)

Performance Coaching Rugby League Certificate (highly desirable)

Proven leadership, stakeholder engagement and communication skills

Strong talent ID capability and experience developing players and coaches

Current Working with Children Card and open driver’s licence
