About the team

The AIS Facilities Services team sits within the AIS Operations Group and is responsible for operating and maintaining support services for the AIS Bruce campus and interstate properties and tenancies, inclusive of mail and fleet operations, site security and cleaning. The team is responsible for the management of external leases (for office facilities in Sydney and Melbourne) as well as internal leases and facilities management agreements with National Sporting Organisations (both Canberra and Gold Coast). 

About the role

You will be responsible for the on-site facility and maintenance management of the AIS Pizzey Park facility on the Gold Coast, ensuring that the facility and asset components are safe, compliant and operational, as well as ensuring access to the facility is effectively managed by the ASC.

As part of the AIS Operations team, you will also assist in the management of other ASC facilities and tenancies, as well as supporting in asset management and maintenance scheduling across the wider ASC property portfolio.

About you

You will be a motivated individual with at least five years' experience in facilities management. You will be comfortable dealing with a diverse range of people and have excellent stakeholder engagement skills.

The successful candidate will have (or be willing to obtain):

  • Asbestos Awareness, Silica Awareness and Working at Heights certifications (QLD)
  • Drivers licence
  • First Aid certificate
  • Experience in procurement and contract management and demonstrated experience in developing preventative maintenance programs.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing, monitoring, maintaining, and implementing information, records, policy, and procedures
  • Demonstrated experience in developing preventative maintenance programmes
  • Proficient in the use of hardware (such as iPads) and software tools

The below criteria are desired:

  • Experience in delivering projects
  • Demonstrated capacity to provide timely, compelling, and concise advice to inform management to support decision making.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings
  • Facilities Management or Trade qualifications
