Sunshine Coast Grammar School is seeking a passionate and experienced Netball Coaching Coordinator to join our team.

This is a permanent, part-time (0.2FTE, term time) opportunity to make a real impact on our thriving Grammar Netball Program.

About the Role

As the Netball Coaching Coordinator, you will:

• Lead and coach weekly training sessions and matches across School, Club, and Academy programs
• Mentor assistant and development coaches, ensuring program consistency
• Support team selection processes and contribute to game plans and training frameworks
• Monitor player progression and contribute to end-of-season reviews
• Utilise technology and performance feedback tools to inform coaching decisions
• Promote a positive, inclusive netball culture and model professional standards
• Ensure all coaching activities comply with health, safety, and child protection policies
• Maintain clear communication with players, parents, and staff
• Assist with reporting, equipment coordination, and record keeping

About You

You will bring:

• Netball Australia Development Coach Accreditation (Intermediate or higher preferred)
• Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
• At least two years’ coaching experience at club, school, or representative level
• Experience in team trials, selection, and season planning
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to design and deliver structured training sessions for varied abilities
• High level of organisation and attention to detail
• Understanding of athlete wellbeing and development in a school sport context
• Competence in digital tools for communication and performance tracking (e.g., Hudl)
• Flexibility to work hours in line with fixtures and training schedules
