About the role
The Competitive Play & Professional Events Administrator will play a key role in the delivery of successful operations for Australian Junior and Professional events. The success of the delivery of the Australian Professional Event calendar is in the planning and preparation. This role will create efficiencies through creating and communicating streamlined administrative & reporting platforms.
In this role you will:
- Assist with management of the Competitive Play Feedback and Tournament inboxes.
- Set-up Australian Pro Tour, World Tennis Tour Junior, Australian National Junior Championship and Diversity & Inclusion Events.
- Support with Financial logistics including payment of invoices through Workday.
- Assist with the compilation of Progress and Final reports for State Government funding grant submissions.
- Coordinate travel and accommodation for event staff.
- Initiate and streamline processes to increase team efficiencies.
- Liaise with a range of event stakeholders, including Professional Events & Officiating Operations team, Member Associations, Tournament hosts, Health & Wellness, Referees, Chief Umpires, and local and international officials for operational requirements.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Knowledge and understanding of the Australian tournament landscape.
- Experience working on and successful administration of operation elements relating to tournament delivery.
- High level IT Competency and skills using Microsoft Office and other computer programs.
- Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check.
- Preparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis Australia.
