St George FC are seeking a highly driven and motivated S&C coach to join our high-performance team, working predominately with our NPL1 Men’s Senior squads.
Working closely with our high-performance & medical department, the core purpose of this role will be to inform and shape the performance of the team through the planning and implementation of periodised team training programs, ongoing tracking of performance metrics as well as individual / team-based strength and conditioning plans.
The role also entails collaboration with youth players and staff regarding strength and resilience programming, warm-ups and recovery advice.
Key Responsibilities
Design, communicate and aid in implementing periodised team training program
Conduct baseline screening and fitness testing
Implement strategies to reduce injury risk
Monitor workloads, recovery and track performance metrics
Collaborate with medical staff on rehab protocols
Guide players through return-to-play physical conditioning
Develop individual and team-based strength and conditioning plans
Educate players on recovery, nutrition basics, and lifestyle habits
Maintain clear communication with coaching staff and players regarding physical status and progress
