About Us

Launched in 2021 by a team of Emmy award winning innovators with previous experience in sports technology, Bolt6 is a start-up dedicated to improving the experience of sport for everyone. Our products help to improve fan engagement, officiating acceptance, and drive commercial performance for sports leagues and federations.

We use cutting-edge technology to do a variety of amazing things with cameras and other data sources (all in real-time in the cloud), including:

Ball and skeletal tracking to provide live line calling and ther officiating;
Providing the platform for sports federations to make critical officiating decisions using video and other data.
Using data to enhance TV feeds with 3D virtual reality and

Your impact

Working with Bolt6 provides a unique opportunity to work on some of the globes highest profile sports events. Alongside our tour team, you will play a pivotal role delivering officiating services at the Australian Summer of Tennis 2025/26.

Role Requirements

We are seeking an operator to assist in the daily delivery of our tennis officiating software.

You will spend the day working at some of Australia’s largest tennis venues, alongside our team and international umpires, ensuring every bounce is tracked live!

Applicants require Australian Working Rights, Working Holiday applicants accepted.

What you will do as a Freelance Tennis Operator

Operating our technology for the Austrlaian Tennis Federation includes;

  • Setting up and testing all on court technology.
  • Working in our operations bunker, tracking live courts for the worlds top tier of tennis.
  • Setting up your operations station and the review official positions.
  • Monitoring software and game progress.
  • Ensuring match data is up to date and correct.
  • Helping to identify problem cases.
  • Working closely with officiating staff to ensure a positive user experience with our software.
  • Troubleshooting issues, and reporting everything to your court supervisor.

What we are looking for

Required attributes:

  • A passion for tennis.
  • A love of sport!
  • A positive attitude, bringing energy to every day of the event.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate confidently with officials.
  • Abiltity to focus for long periods of time, being able to follow match play and identify issues.
  • The ability to work well under pressure to address issues quickly.
  • Clear communication skills to report problems to supervisors.

Nice to have:

  • Technical background - be that software, hardware or operations.
  • A valid Construction Induction Card.
  • Keen for potential future work with Bolt6 or the sports industry.
