  • Various casual positions available
  • $35 - $39 per hour plus 12% Super
  • Must be able to work a variety of shifts between 5:00am to 11:00pm Monday to Sunday including public holidays
  • Located at Nowra Aquatic Park, Bomaderry Aquatic Centre and Shoalhaven Indoor Sports Centre

About the Roles
We are looking for casual team members to promote a fun, fit and healthy lifestyle for our growing community. Our casual leisure attendant's cover a range of roles which is dependent on the qualification and experience you hold (you can be appointed to perform one or more of the below roles). If you are enthusiastic, have great customer service skills and are committed to providing a safe environment for our community to enjoy, we want to hear from you!

Lifeguard

  • Current RLSSA Pool Lifeguard Award or ability to complete Pool Lifeguard Licensing requirements (within 21 days of commencing duties)
  • Current nationally recognised accredited First Aid Award

Learn to Swim

  • Current AUSTSWIM, Royal Life Saving Society Australia or Swimming Australia Certificate - Teacher of Swimming & Water Safety (or equivalent)
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Award or RLSSA Pool Lifeguard Award (CPR)

Aquatics Instructor - Coach

  • Australian Swimming Coaches and Teachers Association accreditation bronze, silver, gold or platinum
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Award (CPR) or RLSSA Pool Lifeguard Award

Fitness Instructor (Wet & Dry) / Gym Attendant

  • Certificate III in Fitness (Gym Instructor)
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Award (CPR)
  • Previous experience / training in Group Fitness instruction
  • Current nationally recognised accredited First Aid Award

Junior Leisure Attendant

  • Excellent customer service
  • Follow defined WHS policies and procedures
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively and cooperatively as part of a team
