Community Aquatics is currently looking for energetic Facility Manager to work at the Macksville Memorial Aquatic & Fitness Centre. To be successful, this position must lead by example, facilitate existing programs and create savvy new initiatives to meet individual and the wider expectations of the Community.
This position is customer focused, designed to engage and deliver programs and services to meet our Member and Community needs. To do this we envisage that our Facility Manager will be a “people person and get intrinsically involved with developing community programs and relationships”.
Through leadership and staff development, the Facility Manager will manage the delivery of services and develop/ manage the facilities business activity.
Key Areas of Responsibilities include:
- Human Resources & Financial Management
- Customer Interaction and Community Building Activities
- Providng a Safe Workpace Environment
- Control and Delivery of our Fitness & Health Programs
- Managing a diverese facility such as the MMAFC requires attention to details and strong communication skills.
This position will oversee both dryland health and fitness, plus pool operations. We understand that qualifications in pool operations may not be something an applicant from the traditional Health & Gym Industry may possess, therefore Community Aquatics will provide training in this area for the right applicant - to assist them extend their traditional Health & Fitness industry skills across the aquatic environment.
