Recognised by the federal government, the Australian Olympic Committee, and Sport Australia, Karate Australia is dedicated to advancing karate at all levels, from local dojos to international competitions.
This newly created part-time role is ideal for someone who is confident, organised, and enjoys connecting with people. A background or interest in karate, sports, or community programs is advantageous but not essential.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist the KA team in building relationships with local dojos and community partners
Coordinate and promote the Playwell program across schools and grassroots networks
Support basic marketing and program awareness activities
Help with simple sales and onboarding conversations
Communicate confidently with a range of people, from instructors and parents to school contacts
Be available for flexible hours and occasional interstate travel (expenses covered)

A go-getter who’s proactive, independent, and comfortable working remotely
Friendly and clear communicator who enjoys connecting with people
Some knowledge or interest in karate, sport, or community programs is helpful but not essential
A valid Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one)
