Wenona is seeking passionate Casual Aquatic Receptionist and Pool Lifeguard to contribute to the safe, professional, and welcoming environment of the Wenona Aquatic Centre. The Position

• Supervise the aquatic facility, ensuring patron safety, water quality, and a clean, welcoming environment.
• Provide exceptional front desk service, including customer inquiries, bookings, and point-of-sale retail transactions.
• Respond promptly and effectively to first aid incidents and other emergencies.
• Perform daily opening and closing duties, cleaning, and general maintenance tasks.
• Work collaboratively with staff, students, parents, and external stakeholders while promoting water safety.

Requirements of the role

• Current Pool Lifeguard qualification with a minimum of two years’ relevant experience.
• Current NSW Working with Children Check.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Confidence using IT systems, including MS Office and swim school software.
• Pool Plant Operator and/or Swim Teacher qualifications (desirable or willingness to obtain).

This role requires the successful applicant to be NESA accredited, hold a valid NSW Working with Children Check, valid Police Check and to be vaccinated in line with any current Public Health Order.
