We are looking for seasonal pool lifeguards who will be responsible for supervising and managing the safety of all customers within the facility.
Duties include maintaining cleanliness and functionality of the pool facilities and manage the day to day operations of the pool with the support of the Senior Pool Lifeguard. Commitment to excellence in customer service and safety is pivotal to your success.
Opportunities for the 2025/2026 season include temporary (seasonal) part time positions and casual positions to work across our chlorinated pools and ocean pool during the summer season and include Albion Park, Oak Flats, Warilla and Beverley Whitfield ocean pool on a roster covering various shifts from Monday to Sunday. The season will conclude on 29 March 2026.
Temporary part time positions at our pools across Albion Park, Oak Flats, Warilla and our ocean pool:
15.2 hours per week with a commencing salary range from $446.48 per week for the 15.2 hours per week
22.8 hours per week with a commencing salary range from $669.72 per week for the 22.8 hours per week
Seasonal employment up to 29 March 2026 on a Monday to Sunday roster over a 7 day roster with the ability to work additional hours when required and approved
Casual positions with hours ranging from 5am to 11pm:
Flexibility of shifts ranging from Monday to Sunday
Commencing salary from $36.71 per hour (including casual loading)
Plus 12% superannuation
Penalties are paid in addition for Saturday/Sunday work and public holidays

These positions requires a current "Working with Children Check" clearance in accordance with the 'Child Protection (WWC) Act 2012 for Paid workers
A First Aid Certificate is an essential requirement of this position, therefore no allowance is payable.
