This role provides strategic leadership & operational excellence for Female Football and Female Football Academies for the West Perth Football Club. This position will be 0.6FTE and will require weekend work.

The West Perth Football Club's female programs is the most extensive in Western Australia with Academy Pathway programs (Brooke Hongell 13s, Laura Pugh 16s) along with our highly successful Rogers Cup program (2021, 2023, 2024 Premiers) and fast-growing attractive WAFLW Program which made a preliminary final in it's 3rd year (now in its 4th). 

Key Performance Indicators

  • Build and maintain a competitive WAFLW List in conjunction with WAFLW Senior Coach, CEO and Director of Womens Football.
  • Oversight on Department Heads (Medical, High Performance, Personal Excellence, Pathways, Football) to ensure the clear sharing of critical information, accountability on actionable tasks to ensure the best outcome for the playing list(s).
  • Innovate and evolve strategic pillars aligning to Premiership Model, List Management Strategy and Female Football Strategic Vision to remain contesting for silverware
  • Ensure compliance across all departments with the current WAFC Rules and Regulations for Female Football
  • Manage Budgetary Expenditure and Forecasting of Female Football Program(s) with profitability and diversification of revenue streams a focus
  • Work closely with General Manager - Talent Development to ensure Pathway Programs are gaining access to the highest quality coaching available
  • Create strong, connected networks within the Community Football Sphere to aid in the Acquisition and Retention of Talent for all programs within this roles remit
  • Diverse stakeholder engagement & management by servicing the large Sponsorship portfolio within the Female Football space with continued focus on identifying and raising further funds for increased sustainability of these programs
