Wests Tigers has proudly competed in the NRL since 2000, winning our first premiership in 2005. Formed as a joint venture between the Balmain Tigers and Wests Magpies in 1999, we’ve grown into a strong and inclusive club, committed to developing future generations of talent. In 2023, we expanded into the Telstra Women’s Premiership, reinforcing our commitment to the growth and future of the sport.
Our headquarters at the Zurich Centre, Concord Oval, house state-of-the-art training and administrative facilities.

We are now seeking applications from motivated and passionate individuals to join our Pathways Coaching Team for the 2026 season. Positions are available across both our male and female programs, including:
Male Programs
- Jersey Flegg Head Coach
- SG Ball Head Coach - Balmain
- SG Ball Head Coach - Wests
- HM Head Coach - Balmain
- HM Head Coach - Wests
Female Programs
- HNW Head Coach
- TG Head Coach
- LF Head Coach
Positions are paid, with remuneration reflective of the role, time commitment, and experience. Coaches may be engaged either as contractors (with an ABN) or part-time employees, depending on the nature of the engagement.
At Wests Tigers, we are committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for all Children and Young People. We have robust recruitment and screening procedures to ensure only the most suitable people are engaged with us. Applicants will be required to undergo the following screening prior to appointment:
- Verification of identity
- Comprehensive reference checks
- A valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) clearance
- A National Criminal History Check, with a satisfactory outcome
