ACU FC is looking for a reliable and organised volunteer to become our Club Registrar and help manage player registrations for the 2027 football season and beyond.
The Registrar plays an important role in helping our players get onto the field. You will work with the ACU FC committee, team managers and players to coordinate registrations and assist with registration-related administration.
Key duties may include:
- Managing player registrations through Football Australia's PlayFootball system
- Monitoring registrations and identifying incomplete or outstanding applications
- Assisting players and team managers with registration enquiries
- Helping resolve registration issues with Football Canterbury where required
- Maintaining accurate club registration records
- Monitoring relevant registration deadlines and requirements
- Assisting with player transfers, deregistrations and other registration processes where required
- Keeping the club committee informed of important registration matters
Previous experience as a football Registrar is not required. Training and support will be provided. We are primarily looking for someone who is organised, reliable and comfortable using online systems.
The workload varies throughout the year. Registrations are naturally busiest in the lead-up to and beginning of the football season, with a lighter workload at other times.
ACU FC is a community football (soccer) club based at Australian Catholic University's Strathfield Campus. We field teams across men's, women's and O35s football and are run by a dedicated group of volunteers.
This is an opportunity to gain practical experience in sports administration, take ownership of an important club function and become a valued member of the ACU FC community.
