The Wynnum Manly Seagulls RLFC are looking for a rehab coach for the 2027 Hostplus Cup season. You will work alongside the Head of Performance and medical team to safely progress injured players back to full training and competition.
Your responsibilities will include:
Develop and deliver rehabilitation programs for injured players.
Work closely with the?medical team, Strength & Conditioning Coach and Head Coach?throughout the rehabilitation process.
Manage players through?return-to-training and return-to-play?programs.
Develop players' physical capacity following injury.
Monitor player progress and adjust rehabilitation programs as required.
Ensure injured players remain?physically and mentally engaged?with the team environment.
Assist with?injury prevention and player robustness?strategies.
Maintain accurate records of rehabilitation, progress and player readiness.
Communicate regularly with relevant staff regarding player status and progression.
Hours:
Training sessions will take place 3 x afternoons a week. You will be required to attend all training sessions as well as home games.
Hours will be discussed in further detail with applicants who progress.
