South East Melbourne Phoenix are a professional basketball team and proud member of the National Basketball League (NBL). Now in our seventh year we are continuing to grow our performance, community and commercial footprint across Australia.

About the role
Reporting to the Consumer Manager, this casual role will provide excellent customer service and build positive relationships to all potential and existing members of the South East Melbourne Phoenix.
Key duties can include:
- Enter data into the membership database correctly and in-line with Club’s customer service standards
- Monitor the Membership hotline and respond to member and support enquiries over the phone and via email
- Provide a high level of customer service and answer all enquiries in a friendly and accurate manner
- Consider opportunities to maintain and enhance services provided to the Club’s membership base
- Batch daily sales accurately and efficiently in line with the Clubs process
- Assist with the Clubs Group Ticketing Strategy
The ideal candidate
Our ideal candidates will be dedicated, reliable and committed with exceptional customer service skills and a can-do attitude. You are self-motivated and enjoy working in a team environment.
You will:
- Proven customer service experience with a passion for delivering exceptional member experiences.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to confidently handle member enquiries.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure, manage multiple tasks and effectively resolve challenging situations.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail, accurate data entry skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/membership systems.
- Adaptable and proactive team player who can work independently, meet deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
