Peninsula Leisure (PL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Frankston City Council, is an industry leading organisation focused on reimagining community health and wellbeing experiences, currently through the management of Peninsula Aquatic Recreation Centre (PARC) and The Pines Forest Aquatic Centre (Pines), Frankston Skate Park and The Centenary Park Golf Course.

Responsibilities of this role include:
- Effectively supervising the aquatic environment
- Promote supervision and customer service excellence through all actions and behaviours
- Promoting and enforcing appropriate behaviour standards in the aquatic environment and assisting in providing an enjoyable and safe recreation experience for guests
- Ensuring that the pool deck is well maintained and free from hazards at all times

Key Selection Criteria
- Pool Lifeguard Certificate (SISSS00133) (Issued in Victoria)
- HTLTAIDO11 Provide First Aid, including valid CRP Certificate
- Working With Children Check (if 18y/o or older)
- Current Police Records Check
- Current Working with Children’s Check
- PARC and PINES have operating hours ranging from 4:30am until 9:30pm. Successful candidates will be required to work within these times and must be available at least one day on weekends. Daily shifts can vary in length, from 3 to 5 hours.
- Our remuneration rates for Pool Lifeguards are in accordance with the Fitness Industry Award 2020, Level 3. Full adult rates apply to employees who are 18 years or older. Junior rates apply for 16 and 17 y/old employees.
Employment is subject to a satisfactory National Police check and a current employee Working with Children check if you are 18 years old or over.
