About the Falcons

The Mount Alexander Falcons are a stand-alone (not attached to a men’s club) footy club based in Harcourt, Victoria. Created for and led by women and gender diverse people, inclusivity sits at the heart of everything we do.

The club invests in practical initiatives that support player involvement, including free transport to away games, free childcare at home matches and subsidised registration fees, helping ensure cost, distance and caring responsibilities are not barriers to playing football.

Beyond football, the Falcons lead innovative community initiatives such as our outreach program with Tarrengower Women’s Prison, where we deliver footy training sessions for incarcerated women.

About the team

The Falcons senior women’s team has a large and growing (more than 50 registered players in 2026) playing list, with the majority of playing group committed to season 2027.

We are seeking an enthusiastic coach to help lead our senior women's program into 2027.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging training sessions and match-day coaching.
• Drive player recruitment, development and retention.
• Foster a positive, inclusive and high-performance team culture.
• Support the development of assistant coaches, leaders and volunteers.
• Build strong relationships with players, committee members, supporters and league stakeholders.
• Uphold and promote the values of the Mount Alexander Falcons.

Honorarium

Competitive honorarium payment is available and will be negotiated with the successful applicant based on their experience, qualifications and the contribution they can make to the continued growth of the Falcons.
