Description

The Illawarra Academy of Sport has been providing emerging athletes a pathway to excellence since 1985.   

Now with the additional responsibility of supporting young athletes in the NSW South-East region, we are recruiting Athlete Service Officers to work under the direction of the Head of Athlete Development to effectively administer, coordinate, and deliver the organisation’s sporting programs and holistic athlete development services.

The position provides operational support to ensure athletes and coaches experience high-quality, well-organised programs that contribute to athlete development, pathway progression and positive participant outcomes.

Working closely with athletes, coaches, State Sporting Organisations, local sporting associations and service providers, the Athlete Services Officer will coordinate athlete services, events, communications and administrative processes that support the successful delivery of regional academy programs. 

We are offering flexible working arrangements and will consider both fulltime and parttime options for the successful candidates. 

The office of the Illawarra Academy of Sport is located within the University of Wollongong's main campus in the city of Wollongong. The option to work remotely can be discussed as part of the interview process with shortlisted candidates.
