Turn your love of sport into a coaching role that builds your career.
Brilliant Careers is pround to be supporting Xavier College to recruit Performance and Development Coaches across Cricket, Tennis, Volleyball, Futsal and Touch Football for the 2026-27 Summer Season, working with students from Years 7 to 12 at our Senior School campus in Kew.
You don't need to have played at an elite level. If you've played or coached at club, school or community level and you're reliable, positive and great with young people, we want to hear from you.

- Build skills employers value: leadership, communication, planning and teamwork, with support to translate your coaching into career-ready skills
- A program with real standing: one of Australia's leading boys' school sport programs, with experienced coaches and a supportive Sport Department behind you
What you'll do
- Plan and deliver engaging training sessions and match-day experiences for teams from Years 7–12
- Create positive, inclusive team environments where every student feels challenged, supported and valued
- Build professional relationships with students, families and fellow coaches
- Help with team selection, attendance and weekly match reports
- Uphold Xavier's high standards of professionalism and child safety
What we're looking for
- Playing, coaching or officiating experience in your sport (club, school, community or representative level)
- Level 1 or 2 coaching accreditation viewed favourably (not essential)
- Professionalism, reliability and excellent communication
- A genuine commitment to the growth and wellbeing of young people
- Willingness to obtain a Working with Children Check (Employee) and complete the College's child safety requirements
Coaching at Xavier is an educational role: our approach focuses on helping every student develop confidence, competence and connection through positive sporting experiences. You'll be introduced to this approach at induction.
