About the role 

The Tennis Program & Operations Coordinator is the face of the Darwin International Tennis Centre “DITC” from a club and coaching operations perspective. This role is responsible for supporting the day-to-day promotion and operations of all programs - from Pickleball, social tennis, to the kids’ Hot Shots program, and more. 

The role is focused on driving the growth of Darwin International Tennis Centre through creating a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere and by applying their knowledge of the club pathway and offerings across tennis in the NT - in all personal interactions whether they are face-to-face, over the phone or online. 

In this role you will: 

• Deliver tennis in a variety of environments across all levels e.g. school programs as well as adult lessons at DITC. 
• Be a welcoming, positive, and reliable representative for Tennis and other sports offered at the club. 
• Promote the DITC pathway and the products on offer for participants at all levels. 
• Oversee the administration of attendance and class billing, ensuring information is up to date and clearly communicated to customers. 
• Create and update content and marketing collateral for the club (posters, social media posts, web content). 
• Provide assistance during major DITC/Tennis NT events, e.g., staffing the café and assisting with general player services. 

About you 

To be successful in this role you will have: 

• Tennis Australia Trainee Coach qualification (or commitment to complete this) 
• Senior First Aid including CPR (or commitment to complete this) 
• Good understanding of the Australian tennis system, including Tennis Australia coaching pathways, Hot Shots, Cardio Tennis, and participation programs 
• Preparedness to support proactively across the Tennis NT team  
• Understanding of Tennis products and brands including racquets strings and accessories 
• Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check 
• Preparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis NT
