About the roles
As a Rowing Coach at Lauriston Girls’ School, you will play an important role in supporting the development of young people through sport. Working as part of a collaborative coaching team, you will plan and deliver engaging, progressive and student-centred coaching sessions that support the physical, technical and personal development of student athletes. You will foster a safe, inclusive and positive team environment, promote the values of the Lauriston Rowing Program, and contribute to a rewarding sporting experience that encourages participation, commitment and personal excellence both on and off the water.
About you
We are looking for coaches that will bring:
- A passion for coaching and developing young people through sport.
- Experience coaching rowing athletes and crews across a range of skill levels.
- The ability to design and deliver engaging and student-centred coaching sessions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, families and colleagues.
- Demonstrated integrity, responsibility and respect for others.
- A commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive and supportive team environment.
- Professionalism and the ability to work collaboratively within a coaching team.
