About the role
The Membership and Ticketing Manager is a key leadership role within Cricket Tasmania's investment in strengthening our connection with members, fans and communities. To be recognised as the leading sports brand in Tasmania, you'll lead the strategies and initiatives that drive membership growth, maximise ticket sales and deliver exceptional experiences that deepen the connection between our supporters and the game they love.
Working closely with the General Manager - Marketing & Communications, you'll develop and execute initiatives that grow fan engagement, increase revenue and strengthen loyalty across the Hobart Hurricanes and Tasmanian Tigers brands. From membership campaigns and ticketing strategies to customer service, fan engagement and commercial insights, you'll play a key role in connecting more Tasmanians with cricket.
You'll lead the day-to-day membership and ticketing function, oversee supporter communications, drive retention and acquisition initiatives, and use data and insights to continually improve performance. Through this work, you'll help create outstanding experiences that keep fans coming back season after season.

You're a customer-focused and commercially driven professional who understands what it takes to create exceptional member experiences and deliver sustainable revenue growth. Whether you're developing membership campaigns, analysing sales trends, leading customer service standards, or identifying opportunities to improve engagement, you're equally comfortable thinking strategically and delivering operational outcomes.
You have experience in membership, ticketing, customer experience, sport, entertainment, events or a related industry and are known for your ability to build strong relationships, use data to inform decisions, and create initiatives that deliver results. You enjoy leading people, thrive in dynamic environments and bring a proactive, solutions-focused approach to your work.
Most importantly, you're passionate about sport, people and community, and excited by the opportunity to help grow the connection between Tasmanians and the game of cricket.
You'll Bring
- Relevant qualifications in Business, Commerce, Sport Management or a related discipline are desirable.
- Demonstrated professional experience in membership, ticketing, customer experience, sales, sport, entertainment or a related field.
- Experience developing and implementing initiatives that drive revenue growth, engagement and customer retention.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to use insights and data to inform decision-making.
- Proven ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with members, supporters and stakeholders.
- Leadership capability and experience leading, coaching or developing team members.
- Experience working with CRM, membership or ticketing systems, with exposure to platforms such as Ticketmaster and Archtics considered advantageous.
- Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong initiative, adaptability and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- A passion for sport, entertainment and creating meaningful connections with members and fans.
- A commitment to continuous learning, improvement and living organisational values.
- A current Tasmanian Registration for Working with Vulnerable People (Employee/Volunteer), or the ability to obtain one.
